In college I started dabbling in programming. My first programs I wrote were
for my HP48. During
class and in my free time I wrote dozens of programs that included Solitaire, a
TV Remote Controller, Misc. Engineering Utilities and a LZ78 Compression program.
Choosing programming over food, this starving college student manged to save up
for a C compiler and began creating programs for my 386SX (aah the good old days).
In 1996 I graduated from Michigan Technological University with a degree in Mechanical
Engineering. Out of college I found my dream job, a job that combined my love for
programming and engineering. The job consisted of developing and maintaining 30
year old FORTRAN programs. As time went on I realized that I wanted focus primarily
on programming and as they say the rest is history.
Today I still love to program and program every second I can both at work and at
home. See my projects page for projects that I have
created in my free time for both work and play.
